Dne 5. února 2025 navštívili členové Ústavu energetiky VŠCHT Praha teplárnu svého klíčového sponzora – společnosti C-Energy v Plané nad Lužnicí. Hlavními výstupy jednání byly:
- Odborná expertiza v oblasti čištění spalin, využití pevných zbytků po spalování a nakládání s popelem a popílkem.
- Dohoda o průmyslovém doktorátu s firmou Feramat Energies zaměřeném na akumulaci tepelné energie pro zlepšení efektivity CZT.

Collaboration Between the Department of Power Engineering, UCT Prague, and C-Energy
On February 5th, 2025, members of the Department of Power Engineering, UCT Prague, visited the heating plant of their key sponsor – C-Energy in Planá nad Lužnicí. The main outcomes of the meeting were:
- Expert assessment in the areas of flue gas cleaning, utilization of solid combustion residues, and ash and fly ash management.
- Agreement on an industrial PhD program with Feramat Energies, focusing on thermal energy storage to enhance district heating efficiency.
