27. ročník konference Asociace korozních inženýrů (AKI)

Ve dnech 6. a 7. listopadu 2024 se na zámku ve Valeči konal 27. ročník konference Asociace korozních inženýrů (AKI), která se zaměřila na aktuální témata v oblasti korozního inženýrství a mikrobiální korozi. Součástí konference byla i prezentace našeho studenta Ing. Petra Roztočila na téma „In-situ korozní testy v superkritické vodě”. Ve své přednášce se zaměřoval na možnost testování materiálů v extrémních podmínkách superkritické vody elektrochemickou impedanční spektroskopií. Společně s Petrem se konference účastnil i jeho vedoucí doc. Ing. Jan Macák, CSc., který přispěl ke konstruktivním diskuzím s dalšími účastníky. Akce poskytla příležitost pro výměnu zkušeností a navázání nových odborných kontaktů mezi vědeckými pracovníky a odborníky z praxe.

On 6 and 7 November 2024, the 27th annual conference of the Association of Corrosion Engineers (AKI) was held at the castle in Valeč, focusing on current topics in the field of corrosion engineering and microbial corrosion. The conference included a presentation by our student Ing. Petr Roztočil on the topic "In-situ corrosion tests in supercritical water". In his lecture he focused on the possibility of testing materials in extreme conditions of supercritical water by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Together with Peter, the conference was attended by his supervisor assoc. professor Jan Macák, who contributed to constructive discussions with other participants. The event provided an opportunity for exchange of experiences and establishment of new professional contacts between scientists and practitioners.
