Pracovníci ústavu energetiky se budou účastnit schůzek a diskuzí především dvou pracovních skupin, a to: Biosolids/Sewage Sludge Pyrolysis a Biochar in Materials.
Ústav energetiky je rovněž od července 2022 právoplatným členem platformy ESPP (European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform), která zajišťuje sdílení znalostí, předávání zkušeností a vytváření sítí příležitostí v oblasti nakládání s fosforem, usnadňuje diskusi mezi komerčním a průmyslovým sektorem, regulačními orgány a dalšími zúčastněnými stranami. Tato platforma řeší regulační překážky, přispívá k návrhům politik či koncepcí a přispívá k definování dlouhodobé vize udržitelnosti fosforu v Evropě.

The Department of Power Engineering at UCT Prague has become a member of the European Biochar Industry Consortium (EBI), whose aim is to promote and support the European biochar industry and its interests, with the aim of developing it into a major industry and thus making a significant contribution to the fight against climate change. In particular, Power Engineering Department‘s staff will participate in the meetings and discussions of two working groups, namely Biosolids/Sewage Sludge Pyrolysis and Biochar in Materials.
The Department of Power Engineering is also a legal member of the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP) from July 2022, which provides knowledge sharing, experience transfer and networking opportunities in the field of phosphorus management, facilitating discussions between the commercial and industrial sectors, regulators and other stakeholders. The platform addresses regulatory barriers, contributes to policy proposals or approaches and helps to define a long-term vision for phosphorus sustainability in Europe.
